Why I chose Internet Marketing and YOU should too?
Initially I started up a few businesses thinking it would free up my time to spend quality time with friends and family. In those businesses, I took charge even though I had business partners. However, I begin to see a pattern of having long days and short nights. Thus at that point, I decided to create my own internet business online.
By creating this blog profile, I want to reach out and interact with newbie and budding entrepreneurs who are in the same situation just as I was…Hopefully my story (in the next section) with inspire you to take on this whole new meaning of internet marketing.
From Business to Internet Marketing
When I was 20, I was privileged to meet Jim Rohn, American leading business philosophy, who dropped a phrase on me that changed my life forever when he said, "profits are better than wages. Wages will make you a living, profits can make you a fortune." With the concept embedded in my head, I started a business with a few friends. My first business was in the education sector, we opened a student care center. The initial set up was tedious and cumbersome. However, when the center was fully operating, it did well and thus we decided to pull all the profits together for a further expansion. During the expansion, 2 of my partners had to leave the group due to study commitments-leaving behind myself and another partner. At that point of time, the two of us had to juggle with the 2 centers, studies and also other commitments. Unfortunately, another calamity struck, the Hand Foot and Mouth Disease broke out in this region. Students’ number was decreasing. However, we were passionate about running the center because of the remaining students who stayed with us. Around this time, I was introduced to my first network marketing opportunity and seminar industry (personal development, public speaking, coaching, stocks and mutual trust investing). I learned about leverage and marketing. The concepts really excited me and that led me to take immediate actions—I bought lots of reading materials, CDs and instructional guides; I also attended many coaching classes, field training programs and live seminars. At this point, I was hungry for success as I am sure You are as well if you are reading this far. My student care business which I had been struggling to keep afloat had to come to “grinding halt” since it was generating a negative cash flow for months. It was the lowest peak of my life. At that point, I was focusing on the negative aspects and events in my life until I discovered the LAW OF ATTRACTION (will write about it…at a later time) and started applying it in my daily life. After a short period of time, good things and events occurred, one of which was to meet some amazing and successful entrepreneurs and marketing gurus. They taught me the fundamentals again—to pick up myself from the lowest point. One such people were Richard, a marketing guru and business consultant. I watched his videos, read his books. With the reading materials and videos, it not only inspired and motivated me but it also opened up a whole new world for me---that is the world of cyberspace. And YES… I HAVE BEEN IN INTERNET MARKETING EVER SINCE. If you ask me, is it better than a physical business? My answer is affirmative YES!!!

achieve your objective!Moreover, there are so much hype and false promises on the Internet that it is nearly impossible to believe anyone. There is no reason for you to believe me, but please bearwith me and I will explain to you the basic truth about what you need to know to get started on any Online business.Whatever program, product or services you are marketing on the Internet these are the few basic things that you will need to do to have some degree of success:
1.You’ll need to know what are the best products and services to market.
2. You’ll need to have your own website that sells...that can have a high rate of conversion. You will need to design and create an effective website with ‘Killer’ Sales copy.
3. Your website will need to be able to accept secured online payments.
4. You’ll need to put your Internet business on auto-pilot.
5. You’ll need to generate ‘tons’ of traffic to your website. These traffic need to be ‘targeted’ traffic.
6. You’ll need to test and track your marketing effort so that you will maximize on your Return on Investment (ROI).
7. You'll need to build your opt-in mailing list.
8. You’ll need to LEVERAGE on your time and investment.
9. You’ll need to develop the mindset and attitude for success.
The above criteria are the ‘backbone’ for any business on the Internet and you’ll need to adapt it in order to have any chance of success on the Internet. It will be EASY for YOU once you know and apply these few basic truth.
